Monitors and coordinates patients care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy~Lebanon, the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee code of conduct. Learns how to use the UHF/VHF radio with EMS communication. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and mercy service standards. We Offer Great Incentives Sign-On Bonus of $2,500 for GN/ASN and $3,000 for BSN per year for 3 years Paid Time Off Frontload up to 40 hours Relocation Assistance of $2,500 available dependent on experience and location Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 Differential pay for BSN, shift, and select departments and certifications Qualifications: Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school. License: current RN license in our state Certifications: Must have BLS or must obtain within 90 days of hire Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical demands. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequently according to patient care requirements. Equipment used: Unit specific.
