Overview: CRNA for Ophthalmic ASC position in Metro Maryland Katzen Eye Group and Dulaney Eye Institute THE PRACTICE: If you’ve been considering joining a practice with NO CALL, NO NIGHTS, and NO WEEKENDS, at a very highly regarded ASC working a 7am-3:30pm (banker’s hours) schedule, with 6 weeks off and no major holidays, you should call and find out about the opening with our practice! Katzen Eye Group founded in 1968 is a large established integrated multi-specialty ophthalmology and optometry group with an outstanding Ambulatory Surgery Center and CRNA team. The practice includes sub-specialties in Glaucoma, Retina, Cornea, Refractive Surgery, Oculo-Plastics, Peds, Uveitis and Cataract along with a strong optometric primary eye care base. Our practice is a nationally recognized leader in EMR and technology with outstanding clinical support, diagnostic equipment, four room ophthalmic ASC and professional management team. We offer an outstanding compensation plan commensurate with experience and skills. Our ASC is Dulaney Eye Institute (DEI), located in Towson, Maryland. It is a four room multispecialty ambulatory surgery center focused on ophthalmologic related procedures. We are multispecialty licensed at DEI-since we have facial plastic and ENT/otolaryngology. Cases consist of Eye Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Surgery, Corneal Surgery, Eye Muscle Surgery, Oculoplastics, Vitreoretinal Surgery, Facial Plastics Surgery, and Facial Reconstruction Surgery. Founded in 1995, Dulaney Eye Institute (DEI) is a Medicare-approved, state licensed, and AAAHC accredited facility, which has preformed over 100,000 surgical cases in the first 20 years. This surgery center is recognized by both doctors and patients alike, for outstanding surgical care, as well as their compassionate and highly trained nurses, CRNA and surgical technicians. All candidates must have the ability to work as an independent CRNA. THE COMPENSATION: You’ll receive a generous package consisting of a highly competitive guaranteed base salary per experience, 6 weeks of PTO, relocation assistance, $1,000 for CME, paid malpractice coverage, and full benefits (health, vision, dental, etc.). THE LOCATION: Our ASC is in Towson and the area and proximal communities offer a very affordable cost of living, highly rated school systems, and a wonderful quality of life. Responsibilities: Full Time Employed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for Ophthalmic cases at an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
