Compensation: $13.60 POSITION PURPOSE Provide timely and accurate certification procedures to facilitate certification of coverage for inpatient days. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC Performs concurrent reviews for quality management Ensures timely certification procedures with all payer sources Arranges and assists with physician-to-physician reviews of denied cases Provides current, verbal documentation in treatment team regarding status of payers Contacts treatment team members for reports on assigned team patients Assists with discharge planning information with insurance companies Provides coverage as needed for the UR department Assists the UR Director at his/her discretion with other tasks Wearing and properly displaying identification badge during work hours Other duties as assigned ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – COMPANY WIDE Regularly attends work except for approved absences Attends all training as required Maintain professional, “champion†behavior Provides quality...

Work under the direct supervision of a Registered or Licensed Nurse. Training is centered on interventions designed to provide appropriate care for different age groups, cognitive abilities, and diagnosis. Working with the other units may be required if patient acuity demands additional nursing support. Demonstrated competency to provide age appropriate care to preadolescents (3-12), adolescents (13-17), adult 18 and older, including geriatrics.
