ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. Current BLS certification. (ACLS certification within one year of hire for Acute, ER, and Cardiopulmonary Departments.) Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. The Recovery RN works directly with the physician to provide post operative duties after surgery. The case mix consists mainly of Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Podiatry and GYN. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care One-year experience in PACU required. Current Michigan RN License CPR (American Heart Association) ACLS Required. PALS Required Location: Kalkaska Memorial Health Center · Med Surg Schedule: Full time, Days, 8am - 4:30pm
