This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Waccamaw Center for Mental Health,Georgetown County Clinic 525 Lafayette Circle Georgetown, SC 29440 Under general supervision, plans, implements and provides direct nursing care to clients in the Williamsburg area for Waccamaw Center for Mental Health. Will evaluate the effectiveness of care/interventions and discharge planning in collaboration with the treatment team. Provides Nursing Services for persons with chronic, persistent mental illness and children with emotional disturbances. Implements client care by making observations, administering medications, providing counseling and education and by utilizing other appropriate resources. Will also make home visits and assist in accessing available Center and community resources.
